<p>Do you ever find yourself thinking, &#8220;<strong>I JUST CAN&#8217;T BE BOTHERED TODAY</strong>&#8221; ?</p>
<p>&#8230;&#8221;I just can&#8217;t be bothered to do any exercise&#8221;<br />
&#8230;&#8221;I just can&#8217;t be bothered to eat healthy&#8221;<br />
&#8230;&#8221;I just can&#8217;t be bothered to go to the gym&#8221;<br />
&#8230;&#8221;I just can&#8217;t be bothered to lift weights today&#8221;<br />
&#8230;&#8221;I just can&#8217;t be bothered to move!&#8221;</p>
<p>Come on now&#8230;<strong>Be honest</strong> with yourself&#8230;Get it off your chest.</p>
<p>I OFTEN notice these thoughts popping into my own head (as much as it pains me to admit it!).</p>
<p>And I KNOW I&#8217;m not the only one!</p>
<p>There we are with a goal to get in the best physical shape of our lives&#8230;and yet there are times when PART of us just simply isn&#8217;t interested. THAT PART just wants to curl up in the corner and go to sleep&#8230;be lazy&#8230;do nothing.</p>
<p><strong>So what&#8217;s going on here?</strong></p>
<p>WELL&#8230;the more I&#8217;ve looked into and studied psychology and human behavior&#8230;the more I realize it&#8217;s totally NATURAL and NORMAL for us to feel this way. All of us have a <strong>&#8220;Mr Lazy&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>The human body is very LAZY by nature, and wants to conserve and save as much energy as possible. It&#8217;s also most interested in it&#8217;s own SURVIVAL too. So staying still and doing nothing is a pretty simple way for it to achieve BOTH these aims.</p>
<p>Most of us also experience a FEAR OF FAILURE in many areas of our lives too. And for some people, that&#8217;s enough to stop them in their tracks. They just do nothing!</p>
<p><strong>PUTTING THE PIECES TOGETHER</strong></p>
<p>So&#8230;with all this stuff going on in the back of our minds&#8230;(and a lot of the time we&#8217;re not even consciously aware of it)&#8230;it&#8217;s no wonder <strong>getting MOTIVATED can be challenging at times</strong>, is it?</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll talk about this again another time, but I just wanted to make you aware of it for now, so you notice what&#8217;s going on when the <strong>&#8220;Mr Lazy&#8221;</strong> starts wreaking havoc in that head of yours.</p>
<p>The key is to first become &#8220;conscious&#8221; of it. Then we can do something about it.</p>
<p><strong>FOR NOW&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>For now I highly recommend you read the quote below. Keep this idea in mind throughout your day (ESPECIALLY when you notice your own &#8220;MR LAZY&#8221;:</p>
<p><strong>&#8220;Think of your plan as a series of experiments. Try each experiment and if it doesn&#8217;t turn out the way you wanted, who cares because it was just an experiment to see what happens&#8221;</strong></p>
